Paul Mortimer was President of Höegh Capital Partners, Inc., formerly Mortimer & Scott Associates Inc., an independent investment advisory firm based in New York, from 1991 to 2003 and is currently Chairman. He previously had a 30 year career in the oil, gas and mining industries, 23 years of which were with the Exxon Corporation. During his years at Exxon, Paul was successively a Manager of the Dutch Gas Export effort, Manager of Esso Netherlands Logistics Planning and Marine Department, Corporate Planning Manager of Esso Europe in London, Senior Vice President of Exxon Minerals, New York, and Director and Vice President of Esso Argentina, Buenos Aires. After Exxon, Paul was responsible for Corporate Development and Coal at Newmont Mining Corporation in New York and was a Director of Peabody Coal. He has acted as a consultant to Morgan Stanley and a number of gold mining companies.
Jeremy Sillem - Advisor to the HCP Hedge Fund Portfolio
Jeremy Sillem is the Managing Partner of Spencer House Partners LLP. From 2000 to 2004, he was Chairman of Bear, Stearns International Limited, prior to which he spent a 28 year career with Lazard LLC. He is Chairman of the World Trust Fund, a Director of Mezzacappa Partners US Fund of Hedge Funds, of RHJ International, of Harbourmaster Capital (Holdings) Limited and of Martin Currie Investment Management Limited. He is an Advisory Director of Partners Capital Investment Group, a member of the Investment Advisory Committee of Brasenose College Oxford and a member of the Business Advisory Forum of the Said Business School of Oxford University. He serves as an Advisory Director of Reform, the London based public policy think tank. Jeremy holds an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.
Lee Thistlethwaite - Advisor and Director of NeoMed and Arts Alliance Advised Funds
Lee Thistlethwaite has over 30 years of Investment and Private Banking experience and has practiced in London, New York, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Geneva. For 25 years, Mr.Thistlethwaite worked for JP Morgan before retiring from the Bank as a Managing Director in 2003. For the last 12 years, he worked with clients of JP Morgan’s Swiss and International Private Banks in management, client development and acquisition, capital raising and financial advisory capacities. Mr. Thistlethwaite also held sole credit authority to approve credit facilities of a significant size. Following the merger of JP Morgan and Chase Manhattan, Mr.Thistlethwaite was made a member of the Management Committee of the newly created Private Bank.
